"British, honest, with great products that work"
I have been buying British Supplements' products for a few years now and have always found their service good and that their supplements work wonders. Their Lion's Mane capsules have done great things for my husband's cognitive ability - I started giving them to him when he looked like he had dementia, and now you would never think so - and he passed the doctor's dementia test with flying colours.

"Despite Chris's loud protestations ..."
... about the ethical principles by which he conducts himself and his business, he is in fact no better than the crooks he is constantly decrying. I wrote a 1* review of one of the supplements he sells, based on my wife's reaction to it while we were on holiday in Cyprus. Without going into the unpleasant details, that holiday was all but ruined for her.

My review was therefore of public interest, since it contained important warnings and information that had serious health & safety implications. You can guess the rest. My review was promptly removed from his website. I take an extremely dim view of that kind of censorship, and on principle will not reward it with any more of my business, which I have now taken elsewhere.

Two subsequent e-mails asking him to justify his crass censorship went unanswered, of course, so we now know how Chris achieves his 5* ratings for the vast majority of his product. He simply deletes all the unfavourable reviews.

In my books, that makes him a first-rate crook and conman. Avoid if you value your health.

"Super fast delivery"
Super fast delivery. On Sunday May 7th, I ordered Clean Genuine Milk Thistle Extract and Clean Artichoke. I then placed another order for Resveratrol on Monday 8th May which was a Bank Holiday. I received both orders today, Thursday 11th May. Will ordering more soon.

"I have had good experiences ordering in…"
I have had good experiences ordering in the past. I ordered another lot of supplements last week and since then I have recieved 4 emails explaining the problems the company is experiencing and apologising for the delay, with information on how to cancel the order if I can’t wait. Well I got a dispatch notice saying it was on its way, and today I received two more emails to track its progress with the courier. I understand they have been going through a rough patch in the company, but they have kept me updated and I have no criticism of how the delay has been handled so far.

"Totally useless."
I ordered some items and was promised delivery within a week. Delivered late.
I emailed three times to cancel my order, which was ignored.
Can I have a refund?please.

"Medical Concerns"
I have ordered from this company for a year. Excellent service and pleased with their products. However ... in December, my fingers became swollen, red and itchy with hives, necessitating medical attention. I have autoimmune illnesses and have since discovered that sufferers should NOT ingest black pepper. Although BS states their supplements do not contain 'nasties', black pepper is a 'nasty' to those dealing with autoimmune complications.

In response to my email query (attached 4-months of photographs of my swollen, red hands) about returning unopened packets, I was approved to return items; five packets were sent on the 3rd of April. Following up on the delay by email, Customer Service requested the order numbers to process the refund; I advised. Their response to my query about the further delay was: "I cannot advise of a timeframe as this is dealt with by the warehouse team and confirmation emails will be sent through." Replies to my emails are answered by Daniel (is he the only CS representative?)

Since April, BS no longer send me the weekly newsletter; I must be deemed 'persona non grata'.

Emailed Chris at 05:30 today requesting that the refund be processed ASAP as it has been five weeks since the items were returned via Royal Mail. Then I found this site. To say that I am aghast at the immensity of negative reviews is an understatement!

NB: It is my belief that anyone who has autoimmune illness should not ingest black pepper.

Update: Am awaiting refund of £94.38 returned 3rd of April of five unopened packets. Response from Chris: "We never got your products back ... Proof of posting means nothing if they get lost, which seems to be the case here. Again like I said, we are all up to date on any returned packages. Maybe phone royal mail and ask them where the package is." Emailed them proof that items were received on the 5th.

"I never leave reviews EVER but…"
After years of taking vitamins/supplements from shops and even the chemists I came across BS as I was doing a lot of research I have hypothyroidism and systemic lupus, I placed my first order last month for the lions mane and the multi vitamin stack, i can deffo feel some changes in myself. The kids have been picking up colds and with my immune system been rubbish and I mean I catch anything I haven’t felt half as bad as I usually would. My long shifts at work seem much more able. I have been sleeping much better also. I have just placed another order just now for the same stuff but this time iv added some ashwaganda to my order too as iv been reading reviews that it helps alot and specially with hyperthyroidism which I do have and am medicated for. Can’t wait to receive this next order and see how I get on. This is me who never leaves reviews or anything, I love the slogan and the whole BS page and what’s it’s about helping people, I myself haven’t had not one of the c**id vaccines and I have just recently had covid again I’m sure these vitamins helped me recover easier surely it can’t be a coincidence. Thankyou BS looking forward to my next order arriving 🙌.

"So they are completely useless"
So they are completely useless, I requested to cancel an order 3 yes Three times, they have completely ignored me and my rights to cancel and are still allegedly sending it now, even though it has not been collected.
Really not cool and I will be reporting them to trading standards for sure

"Won’t go anywhere else for my supplements"
First ordered from this company just over a month ago and already been back to order more. The supplements are not made in bulk so you’ll wait a bit longer for delivery but this is a good thing since as far as I can tell it upholds the integrity of the product, just be sure to order in advance of running out!! I am using NMN, resveratrol, lionsmane (plus omega 3 and probiotics I got elsewhere although I’ll be ordering those too from BS once I run out). I have had what I can only describe as a huge energy surge, at 48 it’s the best I’ve felt in 20 years and I’ve only been using the supplements for just over a month. Given the full benefits are usually felt around 3 months, I’m looking forward to that for sure!! Not being a fan of big pharma myself, (when you consider 22,000 people a year die from medical error in the uk alone with a further 237 MILLION medicine errors, none of which even begins to account for the poisonous toxins in the meds ‘correctly’ prescribed), I am definitely in search of alternative natural medicine and an advocate of Chris’s company ethos. These are clean supplements, not bulked up with other nasty ingredients and they listen to their customers and will help you build your stack for your own specific requirements. Needless to say I highly recommend

"I must have been lucky. Got my product (-:"
Hi, I ordered my Berberine tor type 2 diabetes, as YouTube vids recommend this product. Ordered on 10th April, even after i read lots of bad reviews, British supplements seemed like better products with there ingredients.So decided to give them a go, also using PayPal so I could get my money back if any problems.
Chris mentioned delays in delivery, so I didnt expect anything to soon as in no rush.

My product turned up 2/3 weeks later, if that. So for me I didn't have a problem and will be ordering more products from them. I haven't tested my bloods yet as want to finish my tablets to see if any difference, then I will leave another review.

I ordered twice in the 2 and a half weeks ? didn't receive any notification for the first purchase so ordered again thinking it hadn't gone through. I did read before I ordered that they were a week behind, but its over the time and I still don't have any email conformation for any of my orders. Im going to call my bank right now and ask for a refund. Although I appreciate what ever changes may be happening in your company Chris, I fail to see how you can have the absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered. Default number one being "not even confirming that people have put trust in you and your product and paid money to you? It sounds like you'r probably Short staffed? because expanding your business or correct me if i'm wrong, machine not working I think you said? has nothing to do with customer service? And how hard can it be to hire someone to man a phone line? In a situation like this as an absolute curtsy to my valid customers I would do that I also would offer discount on future products to keep my customers and give the respect due. Anyways that just me. In these challenging times I can't be putting out cash on products and hoping wishing praying for contact and for its arrival. At this point and after reading the countless bad reviews, I have more faith that the second coming of christ and or ET mothership will be here before any email response or package. Such a shame, I was REALLY looking forward to trying this product !!!

So as they say in the Den.. IM OUT! Contacting my bank right now.

"Wouldn't trust anything from this company"
No indication upon ordering that your order will be dispatched well over a week or weeks later. Reading the reviews and how the owner responds to customers is like nothing I've ever seen. A company owner who is obviously a loose cannon selling products that we injest is a recipe for disaster. Thankfully I received a refund and learned a lesson to read reviews first. The audacity for the website asking for a tip and used car salesman pushy website should have been my clue haha. My partner and I read through many of Chris's rude responses and had a good laugh as you can't make this stuff up. Absolutely bizarre. Spend your money elsewhere as this guy is a ticking time bomb.

"Honourable & Brave Company"
I've just left a review for another health and wellbeing company regarding their overwhelming and pushy sales emails, often disguised as research-sharing. It reminded me of British Supplements: Chris emails regularly but he is sharing valuable information and has never come across (to me) as pushing for sales or as a desperate salesman. He stays true to the ethos of a natural way of living.

I have been a customer for years and have spent over thousands. The supplements work and Chris is clearly invested in the health and wellbeing of his customers. Moreover his emails are a great source of info that he takes time to write. A rare combination.

I have seen the recent negative reviews re delayed despatch. My last order was delayed by a week but we were kept informed of these issues in Chris' email updates. I can understand the frustration, especially if you are a new customer who is not a recipient of his correspondence; but the company is not a scam.

My god! I wish id of come here and read the reviews for this company.
im disgusted. Been over a week, no reply from customer service, no dispatch of my order... Nothing.

I'm messenging through messenger, I'm sending emails and nothing at all. So I wrote a comment on their page and angry faced a few posts to try get their attention, but then I found myself blocked. How childish. Very very childish.
I can't get on their page at all, can't message anymore through messenger but they have taken my money 😔😔💔 I have even said to them I'm very very ill and I'm a very poor state and need my order ASAP... To find myself treated like this, ignored and then blocked. Clearly a scam company. I will now have to contact my bank to try get my refund seems though I can't contact them anymore. I feel robbed 😔💔

First and last time I'll ever order from here and I hope to warn others too at how badly this company will treat you.

Save your money and go elsewhere. They found the time to block me but no time to reply to me to tell me where my money has gone. Disgusting.

And I am a customer and have an account! So don't try and palm me off saying I could just be anyone like in your previous unprofessional, rude, replies to people.

I want my money back or my order!!!

"Bitten off more they can chew at mo!!"
Used them months ago they was fine then! Shipped next day but ordered a week ago and now finding out they have apparently 10k of back orders to sort out! Respectful thing to do would be stop bloody taking new orders and address that issue! Seems like they have given it all the we are a peoples company nonsense! But now coming out with excuses and not replying to emails! I will be contacting my bank to resolve this not waiting months for my order! They should know their capacity they can Handle! My advice unless you wanna wait months avoid!
